Ultra Heat Resistant Pad – 1200

Our company has recently developed a brand new roll material, which we named UHRP-1200. It is a unique heat resistant pad material, which is able to withstand 1200ºC/2192F. Not only does UHRP-1200 withstand 1200ºC/2192F, but this material is also fire resistant.

UHRP-1200 has the same properties as HTRM-1200, but unlike HTRM-1200 it has a very soft and thick cushion-like texture. The pad is made out of the unique heat resistant fibers that allow the product to perform well even under excessive pressure.

UHRP-1200 is an excellent heat and electric insulator and heat preserving material. It performs well under high humidity and in aggressive environment. UHRP-1200 can be used in the steel mills as a pad and as heat insulator in the furnaces. This product can be used in the aluminum industry as a flexible and soft pad upon which aluminum coils and ingots can be placed and transported to the warehouses.

UHRP-1200 can be used as high temperature filler for structural and heat protective composites, a filter for hot aggressive solutions and gases. It is also used as filter in the aluminum industry. This material is resistant to water, high pressure vapor, various acids and other chemical reagents (organic and mineral of any concentration do not destroy UHRP-1200, but hydrofluoric and phosphoric acids destroy the material at temperatures over 300ºC/572F).

Our UHRP-1200 is the most efficient substitution for asbestos, which is considered to be hazardous for human health.
