What is HTRP-1500?
At Megasel Alliance Ltd. we have created an Water Based Fire Retardant Paint called HTRP-1500. It is ready to use, one component, water based, and user friendly.
Fire no longer has to be one of your great concerns.
HTRP-1500 has been specially formulated to be applied to bare masonry stairwell walls and various metal surfaces. With the rash of recent fires in Public Housing buildings and during the ongoing war against terror, we were determined to create an effective product to protect both life and property. HTRP-1500 will eliminate funnel conflagration created in stairwells and will be an effective protector of planes, ships, trains and machinery against possible terror attacks.
HTRP-1500 gives round clock protection from fire damage and is a must in schools, kindergartens, hospitals, institutions, garages, plants, factories, homes, farms, warehouses and in transportation.
Prevent Flame Spread
HTRP-1500 will not burn. Its dried film remains undamaged at temperatures in excess of 1500oC/ 2732oF. It combines chemically with masonry & metal substrates creating an unbreakable adhesion. HTRP-1500 is unaffected by Ultra Violet Rays and does not support mildew or fungal growth.
By eliminating flame spread HTRP-1500 contains fire at its point of origin giving ample time for fire fighters to extinguish the blaze.
In today’s world of high insurance premiums the landlord or the owner can’t afford NOT to take all reasonable steps to protect their property.

What else should I know?
HTRP-1500 is an effective fire retardant paint for interior use. It is an ideal combination of surface decoration and fire protection. Safeguards life and property for years against all fire hazards.
Applications:
HTRP-1500 may be applied the same way as any other paint. All surfaces that are to be painted should be properly prepared. Surfaces should be dry, clean, free of oil, grease, dirt or loose paint scale. HTRP-1500 can be applied by brush, roller or spray. Paint should be applied in temperatures above 4.4ºC/40ºF
HTRP-1500 produces no objectionable odors or fumes, either during application or when exposed to fire.
HTRP-1500 may be applied over wood, fiber board, plaster, structural metals, and other readily combustible building materials.
Brushes and other application equipment may be rinsed in clear water.
After the worst has happened
Surfaces protected by HTRP-1500 usually need only cleaning to restore their original appearance after fire.
