GKMVZT (pressed material)

This material is a pressed version of GKMVZT (roll material). It has the same heat resistance as the roll material, but it is much thicker and comes in sheets. The color is grey. Its thickness is from 0,2 mm to 5 mm. The square of each sheet is 650mm x 850mm. The material is relatively soft. It can be used as a heat resistant pad or gasket in any industrial field where such heat resistance is necessary.

Presently it is being used as a heat insulator in the steel and aluminum mills, in particular in the furnaces.

GKMVZT (pressed version) is an excellent substitute for the hazardous to the human health asbestos. More and more countries all over the world are banning the use of asbestos, which is known to be a cause of cancer. Our material, which is safe for the human health and for the environment can serve as such substitute.
