Our
company has invented Germetic-260. It is a plastic, easy-to-form mass. It is
applied as a filling agent in the motors, in the angle cavity of the pole coils,
for the strengthening of the bolting, as the filler of various openings in
the bodies of machines. Germetic-260
is widely used in the locomotive manufacturing industry. The spectrum of
applications of this extremely flexible heat resistant material is very wide.
It is used in the manufacture of railway motors for the capsulation of the
compliant flexible leads, during the impregnation of the coils by the
varnishes and compounds. Germetic-260
is also used for sealing-in and packing of the riveted and bolted connections
that are used in the temperatures of between -60oС/-76F to +260oС/500F. Germetic-260
does not cause corrosion to the stainless steel and to the aluminum and
titanium alloys.

- Temperature of fragility -65oС/-85F. -
Relative tensile strength of the
vulcanized and oven-controlled putty at the temperature of +250oС/482F during
100 hours is not less than 100%. - Shelf life is 12 months. Our Germetic-260 contains no asbestos, which is
considered to be hazardous for the human health.
